Aixam Mega has been strongly solicited over the past few years to develop solutions for clean urban transport. Their experience and technical expertise linked to the development of ultra light and compact vehicles have formed an essential platform from which to develop and commercialise vehicles that are 100% electric.
London, having all the characteristics enabling the development of electric vehicles (no congestion charge, free parking, no road tax) Aixam Mega decides to extend its range of commercial vehicles to that of passenger vehicles, and to begin distributing in London a 100% electric city car.
The first 2 +2 seater vehicles were delivered in March 2007.
The maximum speed is 64 km/h that enables the drivers to keep up with the flow of traffic in more suburban areas.
Its vivacity, the parking aids, its automatic variator, its short turning circle makes its use in city centres very enjoyable. Its design and its standard equipment are comparable with those of the highest standard from conventional automobile manufacturers. Its range is enough to satisfy the majority of professional, inter site and urban journeys. A commercial version has been specially developed for a business use.
With the strong, environmental arguments (zero emissions, low noise pollution, almost 100% recyclable, respecting air quality) Mega e city is now available in the Mega professional network in all areas where it has an application... that is to say in all those places that have adopted a progressive attitude towards the environment and who wish to promote and develop upon their image of being a responsible company
