AIXAM-MEGA is a manufacturing group located in the Rhône-Alpes region, in Aix-les-Bains (savoie) and Chanas (Isère). Since being founded in the French Alps in 1983 AIXAM MEGA has continually worked to improve its production processes and production tools.
Qualified personnel ensure the highest standards of quality control in the manufacture of the principal components and the final assembly.
Covering an area of 8 hectares more than 15000 vehicles are produced each year for delivery to France, Europe and North America.

Caring for the environment is at the heart of our company's development. This priority has been expressed through constantly optimizing its research on, the weight of the vehicles, their fuel consumption, and their recyclability (almost 100%).
Conscious of the fact that the automobile market is changing in terms of vehicle use and driving behavior, Aixam Mega will accompany you in the future. Mega has developed a wide range of combustion engines that are characterized by a very low fuel consumption level and emissions that are the lowest in its category. Mega confirms its leadership with 77.9 g/km which amounts to a CO2 level 37% lower than the average objective of 125g/km decided by the European Parliament.
In addition to this, with its range of electric vehicles Mega is a manufacturer of clean vehicles!
At Aixam Mega its actions speak louder than words: 1500 electric vehicles are being used daily in the four corners of Europe and North America.
In 2008, Aixam Mega, the European Leader for "no licence" cars since 1983 celebrates its 25th birthday. This is a source of pride for the company and its staff.
For Mega 2007 has been a year both of consolidation and pioneering.

The increase in the sales volumes of 23% in 2007 are a result of the progress that has been made, compared to 2006. In terms of motors, the electric motor vehicle sales have increased from 12% to 19%. This confirms an increasing interest in our product range, which is ideally suited to proximity, short run trips, with no pollution.
2008 will surely be a year of maturity and success.
